In responce to your article, "Wherever You Lead, I Go":

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this plain Truth message, Mrs. Hill. It is plain enough that "good instruction" for our kids is not enough, nor the requirement. If we simply "tell" them the right way, and LIVE the wrong way, we TEACH them the wrong way. I am living proof of that, as is most of us.

For the vast majority of us, if we can read this and not feel like we've been "kicked in the teeth", we haven't listened to what you have said with honesty in our hearts. It is the job of The Word of God to discipline us in love and Truth, as politically incorrect as that is now-a-days.

Bravo, Mrs. Hill... Bravo.

What a great reminder Cherie! A small bit of wisdom to remember today.

Thank you for your wonderful devotions that speak to us from the Heart of the God. I find myself inspired each time I read them.

The thought of God, the thought of Thee,
Who liest in my heart,
And yet beyond imagined space
Outstretched and present art,

The thought of Thee, above, below,
Around me and within,
Is more to me than health and wealth,
Or love of kith and kin.

Within a thought so great, our souls
Little and modest grow,
And, by its vastness awed, we learn
The art of walking slow

Wonderful blog Cherie!!

Reminds me of the song from Mary Poppins..."lets go fly a kite up to the highest heights...oh lets go fly a kite". We should all fly a kite...

Cherie,

That thought from Dr. Graham is ever
so true!

In our family this week, we saw miraculous
moving of God in answer to prayer, as he
brought a cherished pet through against the
odds of veternary science.

He's always there orchestrating things
for His glory and our ultimate good.

Thank you Cherie, I had a missionary /teacher show us this part of the gna of each individual, the LAMININ, that is unduplicable by scientists. We were made to worship God and He built it into our gna and made it as only the Creator could, unduplicable.

Cherie,

BOY,_ speak about the short list, for
me it's like comparing a sand hill with
Everest. I pray that God will mold us
daily into the image of His Son.

Thanks Cherie for a very reflective
thought and opportunity for examination.

May God bless you abundantly,

Cherie,

You don't know how your observation
regarding heavenly conversation impacted
me for today.

I was just saddened to hear how some
people have been gossiping about me and
speaking shameful insults,_ it hurt me,
but your reminder of God's conversation
has really helped me feel much better.
Thanks so much, and God bless you.

Precious Child of God,
Thank you Cheri for the reminder that God speaks and God works, through us and for us. I forget too often the Psalm says " Be still and WAIT upon the Lord." I have my agenda, and I think that He should read the memo. Every time my thinking gets askewed that way, the wait is (or seems) longer. God does the unexpected because He first loved us, and He so loved the world, two very big words, because and so when they are in context to the character of Abba Father.
Again thank you and I will be praying in the Spirit for and with you.
In Christ,
John

Hey there my sweet friend! Wow! it's been soooo long since we've talked. I don't know if you've been sensing it in your spirit but I feel in my spirit like God is fixing to do a mighty work not only in the earth but in our family!! woooo hooo I am ready for great things to happen in our lives, I have been reminding myself to NOT go by what I see or feel but by what I know... it's so hard but I know that in a MOMENT!!! God is a God of "suddenlies!" Suddenly what seemed to have taken forever will be answered in a moment in time!!! God's timing is perfect and I am holding on to that.

I miss you and look forward to hearing back from you soon. Know that you too are always in my thoughts and prayers!

Love,
Caroline

Thank you Cherie for the reminder to seek God in the ordinary. I also find Him as I drive my truck, just guiding me to my destination, when I first pray and give Him the wheel. We must present to Him what we need,THEN He will fulfill.

I voted before taking the poll but was torn between two candidates. You can almost say I did a coin flip though I simply, while in line to vote, decided one issue was more important. The poll confirmed my vote. Yea! I guess I voted right. Thanks Cherie.

Your posts are such a blessing and I see you must have had a birthday too...(((hugs))).

My husband and I voted by mail here in California...we have a very high interest in this election and of course what the future of this country may be.

I am disturbed and in prayer often for this land...I hope it is not too late for God to give us as a nation, repentance for our sin and wave of evangelism.

Loved your U TURN...He gave me some
ideas this year about reaching out to strangers in the parking lots and grocery stores...sharing His word and doing acts of kindness. I think something wonderful is going on among His saints.

Cherie,

A great big AMEN to that moving song
and beautiful video. In God we do trust!

I love the lyrics to that song, but more
importantly we (CHRISTIANS) do indeed need
to speak out,....we can't sit on the fence
and let the minions of evil try to push God
out of this HIS COUNTRY.

Thanks for bringing us that wonderful
reminder of our Christian heritage

Ezra 9:8-9a HCSB But now, for a brief moment, grace has come from the LORD our God to preserve a remnant for us and give us a stake in His holy place. Even in our slavery, God has given us new life and light to our eyes. Though we are slaves, our God has not abandoned us in our slavery. He has extended grace to us...

May you be:
generous in prosperity,
thankful in adversity,
fair in your judgment,
guarded in your speech,
a lamp unto those who walk in darkness,
a home to the stranger,
eyes to the blind,
a guiding light to the feet of the erring,
a breath of life to the body of humankind,
a dew to the soil of the human heart,
and a fruit upon the tree of humility.

Hello my sweet friend, I posted a couple of urgent prayer request... I love your recent picture of yourself too!!! How have you been? Us, well staying busy with work and kids mostly. This credit card company (Bank of America) has really sought out to make our life difficult... But I know in some way God will use this for our good. It's just that now we are 3 less credit cards to use and when money is tight, well that makes it even harder! I want 2008 to be the year our finances get in order and we start the long process of becoming debt free. I am so tired of always working just to pay bills off... They say it's the American way but I am really finding that it's only an illusion, the only real security... our faith in Christ!!

Write when ya can... I love ya!
